M312 is a prestressed monoblock booted sleeper which is designed to address the vibration mitigation requirements of modern slab tracks.

This innovative sleeper is available with various levels of performance and benefits from being an extremely cost effective alternative to Floating Slab Track (FST).

It has been engineered to combine strength, constructability, maintainability, and flexibility and as such, has been adopted by some of the most prominent track construction contractors worldwide, as their preferred system.

The system incorporates a resilient pad offering a second level of elasticity under the sleeper block.

Sleepers can be ‘tuned’ to the specific performance requirements of the project and are available in either twin block, monoblock or switches and crossing bearer configurations.

Sateba UK supplied around 5,000 Monoblock Sleepers (M312 previously known as HAS), for their innovative vibration mitigation properties, to the Elizabeth Line (Crossrail project).

The HAS (now called M312) was the result of a 10 year investment programme to develop a cost effective alternative to traditional floating slab track.
