The Health and Safety of SATEBA UK employees, contractors, suppliers and customers is at the very core of our business and is of paramount importance.
SATEBA UK is committed to building a zero accident culture by ensuring a continual emphasis on controlling and eliminating risks in the workplace.
We have a Target Zero Safety Vision which aims to build a culture of zero injuries, zero instances of ill health, zero tolerance of unsafe behaviour and practices.
As part of this, we are proud to be accredited with ISO 45001 certification, which demonstrates our commitment to safeguarding the ongoing well-being of our people, and consistently improving our health and safety management system to create better, safer working conditions.
In addition to this, we also have various initiatives designed to engage our people to help ensure they understand the importance of health, safety and wellbeing while carrying out their daily tasks. Read below about a couple of these.

The SATEBA UK NMHA initiative encourages the reporting of potential hazards and has led to a 90% reduction in accident levels since it first started in 2008.
Our people have access to a mobile tablet with a reporting app (Quentic) installed so they can add in potential risk details, including the area, situation, equipment, issue and suggestions. There is also a printed version of the NMHA card to complete if they are not comfortable using an app.
The submissions are reviewed, assessed, and actioned on a regular basis. The person who reported the issue and those involved can also track its progress on the app.

As well as regular training and safety updates, the company also holds an annual Safety Event which helps embed a culture of zero accidents and incidents across the organisation.
This is achieved through engaging employees with activities, demonstrations and presentations that are key to the industry eg.line of fire; working at height; lifting operations; lock out, tag out, try out.
We have also been honoured to include special guest speakers who have experienced serious injury while working. They eloquently express the physical and mental impact of their injuries to help get across the seriousness of ignoring hazardous ways of working.
Our aim is that everyone works safe and goes home safe.

Sateba UK takes pride in the environment we work in and so we adhere to a clear set of company policies covering our activities including:
